Meet and Greets:

We conduct meet and greets (up to one hour) with potential clients to evaluate if we would be a good fit to provide services. During the meet and greet, we will answer any questions about our services, ask questions about your goals and expectations for services, discuss availability, and review the intake process. To schedule a meet and greet, please fill out an intake form. Submitting an intake form is not an agreement to receive or provide services, it simply gives us your basic information to contact you about discussing services. The meet and greet is a complementary service.

Assessments

Before starting ongoing therapy sessions, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will complete a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). During assessments, the BCBA will collect background information about the client by reviewing available records, paperwork filled out by the parent/caregiver, and interviewing parents and/or caregivers. After the interviews are completed, the BCBA will complete an observation of the client. During the observation, the BCBA will observe, evaluate the client’s skill level in a variety of areas, take data on the client’s behaviors, and may complete other assessments such as a Functional Analysis, ABLSS-R or VB-MAPP.

After the assessment is completed, a treatment plan and behavior plan will be developed. These documents will include a summary of the assessment, the identified goals, procedures to reduce challenging behaviors and teach new skills, and parent/caregiver goals.

One-on-One Therapy

Our therapists and clinicians provide one-on-one sessions with clients. During sessions, we work on a variety of skills including, but not limited to, functional communication, language development skills, daily living skills, and social skills. We also work on reducing challenging behaviors such as aggression and property destruction.

Parent and Caregiver Training

We offer training to parents and caregivers. Training can be done in the presence of the client, or one-on-one with the parent or caregiver. During training, we will teach parents and caregivers how to implement the programming and procedures developed for the client.

IEP Meetings

We can attend IEP meetings, advocate for the needs of our clients, and help with writing/wording goals with measurable outcomes and the best way to collect data on the goals.

Collaboration with other Disciplines

We can work with schools, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other individuals to train them on our procedures and work together to formulate mutual goals and procedures to work towards those goals
